funny you bring some points up. ryan was just over at my house last night going over new body designs for some of his lures, as well as discussing paint jobs. I have never experienced hangup problems with the bottom hook. That said, a slightly smaller hook would not harm the hooking much, and sometimes quickens the action out of the hole. The sound of Ryans creepers are in my opinion, as good as any out there. A few of the creepers he has sold recently have had production wings on them as he did not have a manufacturer making 'his' wings at the time. Now, he is changing the design slightly of the creepin wobbler, and the wings are going to be slightly modified from here out as well(they will be more like the wings he was making 10 years ago), and are going to be of the highest quality one could imagine. He now has a patent on a wing design which he will go forward with from now throughout the future. It is one nice creeper! If you have any trouble with yours, please give him feedback as he always wants to hear it. (715) 213-3618
