Question for the speed trollers. Have you ever had an extemely big musky come on a really short line? Like under 10 feet?

Also, do the really big muskies like a bit slower speed or do you use a fast speed for trophy tactics also?

Is there certain degree ranges in which you troll at certain speeds?

Big fish will hit on a short line for sure. I stuck a 48 last year on 10 feet of line. Going about 3-3.5. I wish I could help ya on the different speeds, and different temps, but they will hit on short lines. Try running a sledge faaaaasssst this time of year. See what happens.
