I have a powerdrive 65 with the universal sonar. I have a vexilar hooked up to it and am experiencing way too much interference. Its fine when I am running the motor at a very slow speed but when I turn it up(with the gain on zero, the screen becomes cluttered. Anyone else experienced a problem like this????

I have the same trolling motor and had the same problem, I originally had the graphs drawing power off the trolling motor batteries. I disconnected them from the 24v circuit and connected my graphs to my 12v starting/crankin battery for my 60 hp merc which are on a completely different circuit. This solved the problem for me, with absolutely no problems. Don't worry about the graphs drawing too much juice, You're alternator on your outboard will keep your starting battery at full charge. Hope this helps.
