Any tips for Namakagon Lake? Will be up there 7/24 - 7/31.

On the other side of Anderson Island where you have to enter that portion of the lake through the narrows and under the bridge, if you go straight across to the opposite side to the shoreline just to the left you will see trees(birches) down in the water from beavers. It has good depth, weeds and wood. Was up in June and saw a 40+ incher surfacing like a torpedo chasing crappie. Also have caught some smaller 30" range fish in that area. Another area worth trying is trolling that narrows out from the bridge to the main upper lake. Good depth close to shore and have caught decent size muskie here also but always felt it could produce a whopper. Work the shoreline along the campsite, the shoreline turns to trees and boulders/rocks it is especially good when the wind is blowing into it. Good post how it goes when you get back.
