Location: Illinois-Indiana | I had a guide trip set up for Friday and they cancelled at the last minute so I decided to take my 13 year old son with me.
Fished Webster from around 8:30-6:00, water temps were from 74-76 everywhere. Drizzled a little bit off and on during the morning but for the most part it was a great day to be on the water.
We caught 6 fish, had 5 others on and lost them and had countless follows. All fish were relating to the secondary breaks in water from 12'-22'. Jordan caught his two on a 7" Grandma (blue/white), a 28" and a nice 31.5".
Two of mine came on a Slammer drop belly glider and the other two came on top water, a 26", 32.5", 35" and a 38".
No big fish in the boat but we had a blast fishing together and giving each other a hard time.
REMEMBER, IF YOU HAVE A CHANCE, "TAKE A KID FISHING"!!!!!!!!
You won't regret it!!!
