Location: Gods Country | I'm heading to Presque Isle Lake for the first time in mid-September and staying at Sun Rise Resort for a full week. I'm not looking for anyone's spots, just some general direction on where muskies tend to be staging that time of year.
What type of structure/depth should I focus on—deep humps/rock, weeds, points, or open water? Also, what lure types would you recommend starting with?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! |

Location: Brighton CO. | I've never fished this body of water (but always wanted to) Big, deep lots of forage, sometimes in September the fish will move shallow before turnover. You could troll, Me I would float right down the middle casting both floating plugs or countdowns or even soft plastics. Not the fastest fishing in the world but you may catch the biggest fish in Wisconsin for the year. And if you can track down guide Adam Johnson and talk to him. You'll have a great time! |
