Hello all,

I'm officially T-minus one week away from heading up to the big Eagle for a week. I'll be staying in Outlet Bay but willing to fish anywhere the muskies, walleye, pike, and bass are hot! Wondering if anyone has any insight as it will be my first time on shield waters. I've scoured maps for hours and have every little are dialed within a 15 mile radius. Just looking for suggestions to start off with to try and cut down the learning curve that will most likely take multiple years haha. Would love to have any advice for people who just got back from up there or usually go around this time of year. Anything is much appreciated!

Angling Anarchy on youtube is a good resource if you haven't already found that channel. He's been going up there for years, and fishes the opener. Good content for areas to fish and equipment/baits that work on Eagle. Just look for the Eagle lake opener videos. Im sure outlet bay itself is a great starting point. Don't forget the river as well. Good luck!
