I’ve been fishing a few spots from Elgin to Carpentersville the past few weekends with no successes other than getting out of the house for a couple of hours. But then again, I’ve haven’t caught any muskies in that part of the river ever. I have heard that the areas you are mentioning have been slow compared to recent years. I believe all the muskies have washed down stream. I think the cement-n-rebar reefs and polish bathing mermaids spook them away.
