While out trolling last week I snagged up off the bottom a large lower jaw bone,,, from what I don't know,(not a fish) but I would like to know how old it is and what animal it came from, any ideas where I might turn? I have emailed pictures to a couple of anthropologist/ osteologist but have had no success,[:praise:]

Not sure where you live, but if it were me, I would contact the Smithsonian or the local ZOO. They have people that can help you.
