has anyone used the shimano tdr areoglas 9ft trolling rods, for musky fihsing? they look like a good rod for the money, and since they stopped making the st croix pro glass 10ft heavys im looking at these now.

I have 3 TDR rods that I use Musky trolling. $30 ea! Almost indestructable, low cost, decient quality rods. I have used them for years Salmon trolling and the past 2 seasons on Skis. The eva grips don't get torn up in the down-easters either like cork. Spoil yourself on the good stuff for your casting rods, run the Shimanos for trolling.
