Is there a fishable population of muskies in the river between Coon Rapids and northwest up past Anoka up towards Elk River?

If not muskies anyone have luck with smallies around that area?

I don't think you will find much for muskies in that stretch. There are a few below St. Cloud Dam, but for the most part, fishable numbers of muskies start above St. Cloud Dam. Smallies are another thing. Should have no problem finding smallies in that stretch, although flows are extremely low right now.
