I recently saw a guy using a salmon rod and a large sized penn reel for fishing yo zuri pin's minnows and husky jerks. So, this made me wonder, what do you guys use for such tiny presentations? What other "finesse musky" presentations do you like?

I use a med heavy 7' HMX spinning or a 7.5' mojo bass caster in spring for big shallow pike. With these I can cast husky jerks and 4' phantoms all day and they have plenty of backbone for 45' pike and still fun with the smaller ones. If you want to get the best fight using a husky jerk, loose the middle hook and upgrade the others if you don't you will straighten hooks on ever big fish. This might require a little trial and error as the suspended death pause it key with the husky jerk.
