I have heard the same material from the first book is in the 2nd. Could anyone verify this. Or explain the difference. I have the 2nd one on the way to me. Do I need the first one?

I had original copies of both and they were completely different books. I know some of his books were updated or revised in more recent years so not sure if newer copies are different.
