"Unbeliveable Dude".You get a good one? "You ain't gonna believe this".My brother Dave(Musky Dr.) called me last night to tell me of the one that got away.I could tell by the tone of his voice that something BIG happened.Dave is a good stick and fishes his tail off on the lakes in the Tomahawk/Minoqua/Rhinelander area, and does well. Well , last night he had an experience of the 50" variety and came up a little short.Due to equipment failure, she's still swimmin'."Dude, she was a DC10"(as in DC10 Widebody)which is our term to describe a real fathead. I won't go into all the details , but I just want to tell my Bro to keep his head up.He's doing the right things , and it will happen. They don't just break our equipment, they break our hearts. Steve

Location: Detroint Lakes, MN

I was out on Sun., and while it wasn't a 50" class fish, I had a 44-45" fish bust me off.

She hit a creeper by the boat, and after a short battle, I was ready to put her in the net, then she decided to go airborne and then roll in my line. Her gills cut me off and she swam away with my creeper.

Bummer.
