Random quote: After about a half-mile the fella stopped and stooped over, with his hands on his thigh's to catch his breath, and the Game Warden finally caught up to him."Let's see yer fishin' license, boy," the Warden gasped.

I have a lot of metal lips, I use plastic types on my lures but did use metal lips many years ago. So the question in general which do you prefer. I know it depends on the lure but you can adjust a metal lip to suit your needs. Lures wood or plastic use.

We use both-- Lexan on the light lures meant for twitching and shallow water--and Aluminum on others that run deeper and may bang the bottom.
