Well she finnally left me! Was bringing in my dream weaver(old blackbird Topraider), when a 20lber ate it. Nothing spectacular fightwise, netted her, and noticed my worst nightmare just came true. The wire was snapped in two where the two plastic parts join, and the tail section had sunk during the fight. This lure had been very special to me, and one that is impossible to replace(I have several others in the same pattern that do not souind/produce like she did. It was the 59th and final musky on that lure. I cannot think of another surface lure that will last through so many battles!!! A hole was pierced in her once by shamoo(never got a look at the fish) when my wife had the hit of a lifetime at boatside. She withstood a few kjeel weight fixings(I'd open the top of the lure and glue it in place), and probably 20 hook replacements. Now its over. Services will be held this evening on Petenwell flowage at 6:00 PM as I toss the front section overboard in an at sea burial.

I have my favorite Topraider too, it has something around 20 fish on it and it would crush me if it goes.
