Well the process of building a new house has pretty much taken its toll on me this summer in more ways than one. As a result I've only hit the waters musky fishing only once and that was opening day. I had 2 extended weekend trips planned to Vermilion, 1 in August and 1 in October which are now gone as a result of a miserable closing on the house. With any luck I will at least be able to get up to Minnetonka some time next month for a day. Too bad its only August and already I'm looking ahead to next year.

I am as well looking forward to next year. Between getting married, buying a house, and attending weddings of more friends than I thought I had, I have only put in about 20 hours of muskie fishing all season so far. Have not even had a follow yet. I have nearly forgotten what a musky looks like.
