| IceFishingFirst is a great site, lots of terrific information.
The IFF Outing on Roberts Lake in Wabeeno, WI was one of the highlights of last winter for my 10y/o son and I. Some observations of the outing...
**We all caught fish. Flags popping on a regular basis, plus fish on jig poles.
**Nice folks at the outing, including many M1 regulars. Troy sets a nice healthy tone, it's not a big party scene. So, it's a great trip to take with your kid(s).
**Troy brought in all kinds of cool gear, including portable shanties; ice augers; and a half dozen AquaView units for us to play with.
**Troy is an awesome cook. One night he made a huge fish and fries and slaw meal for the entire crew from the back of his truck in the parking lot of the motel. Excellent fish! (don't tell Worrall, but he also made venison tenderloin sandwiches for all the folks who were there the first night.)
Anyway, the outing was a blast and I'm already looking forward to the 2004 IFF Outing. |
