I am thinking about going fishing on Friday. Just wondering how much snow the Brainerd area got? Are the lakes starting to freeze up?

I was in Brainerd yesterday and they got dumped on. Probably 10-12 inches. They were still plowing roads last night. As for ice, most of the ponds and small lakes are already iced over so you might want to call around to some bait shops to see whats open tomorrow.
