This time I was the sideshow at the Gile Flowage landing. Used a secondary landing due to wind conditions and backed one wheel into a large hole in the ramp. Getting the trailer out was a circus and That must have severely stressed the bolts on the other wheel because on the way home doing 65mph that wheel decided to go bye bye into a swamp.Had to get the boat and trailer hauled up onto a flatbed trailer and go diving in the swamp to retreive the other wheel. Was just my time in the barrel I guess, but I should have checked the ramp before backing up instead of being a smartass "pro". Fishing was fair in high wind boated one and several follows.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Don't worry though things will get better. That's what insurance is for.

Since I put tandem axles under my boat, I have had no problems with even the worst landings.

One time I even saw a whole axle ripped off a trailer at the Michigan Lac Vieux Dessert landing.
