Location: Presque Isle Wisconsin | This time I was the sideshow at the Gile Flowage landing. Used a secondary landing due to wind conditions and backed one wheel into a large hole in the ramp. Getting the trailer out was a circus and That must have severely stressed the bolts on the other wheel because on the way home doing 65mph that wheel decided to go bye bye into a swamp.Had to get the boat and trailer hauled up onto a flatbed trailer and go diving in the swamp to retreive the other wheel.Was just my time in the barrel I guess, but I should have checked the ramp before backing up instead of being a smartass "pro". Fishing was fair in high wind boated one and several follows. |
