Fished Big Arb yesterday and the north end is really starting to bloom, water temps were 70 on the north and 65-67 elsewhere in the lake. I had 4 blow-ups on my trusty Topraider, two of them followed on the surface for 20 yards or so and then only took a lazy swipe, we had well over twenty follows mostly over the center bar cabbage and the bay on the east end of the lake. The cabbage beds are coming around nicely. The panfishers were easily limiting out on perch and crappie on the center bar too.

I hate algae. I think I would rather wrestle a crocodile on pcp than have to fish an algae bloom.
