Hey guys,

I'm having some performance issues (proposing) after I had a Talon installed. I initially thought it was the added weight, but it has been suggested the motor may be in the wrong hole. I also added a Jestencase rear deck box. Probably 200 lbs easy in new rear weight. I can no longer have any trim at all with two people in the boat under 40 mph. I have to mash the nose down at any speeds lower than that. Same thing at about 36 mph with just me. Since they had to pull the motor to put the mount on I'm wondering if the reinstalled the motor in the wrong hole. It currently sits third one down. There appears to be some marks at the top hole where it must have been mounted at one time.

Anyone out there with this setup? Can you take a peak at your rigs and let me know what hole your sitting at?

More importantly in may be the type of prop your using.

Try a four (4) blade custom prop and you will achive the ability to run that boat at 24mph without the issues that you have.

I hope this helps just my experience with the an 05
