The Milwaukee Chapter of Muskies Inc is looking for some Vets who would like to go out musky fishing on Pewaukee Lake. The date would be Saturday, August 29. Fishing in the morning, lunch in the afternoon. Stories throughout the day.

We are also looking for Muskies Inc. members who would like to guide a vet or two for the event.

If you are interested in fishing, or guiding, please contact me with your name, phone number and email address if you have one.

More specifics will be posted in the near future.

Milwaukee Muskies Inc hosted their Annual Vets outing on Saturday out on Pewaukee Lake.
About 15 vets showed up to fish with 13 members of the chapter.
From what we could gather, between all of them, around 60 fish were "seen" during the morning trip, with about 15 fish hitting a lure and 4 of them ending up in the net. 3 of the 4 fish caught were first muskies for the fishermen involved.
After fishing there was a cookout at Nettesheim park that featured good ole brats and burgers. Many lures were donated and many stories were shared.
I think a few vets and members even snuck back out after the event to chase more fish on the lake.
It was just a great outing. The outing was organized by Joel Michel, so thanks a lot, Joel. And there were countless other volunteers there who helped guide, cook and run the overall event.
