Does anybody have any experience with this? I was wondering if there might be a bonding problem with the paint or the epoxy to the lead?

Thanks,

I think I'd use an appliance epoxy spray paint as the primer coat. Then scuff with 220 grit sand paper and paint. The appliance epoxy seems to bond well and it works well with water based paints.
