Location: Morehead KY | Let me know some trolling rods (for big and small baits) that won't break the bank. I don't troll very much so I normall just use my casting setups. I am buying a couple line counters and want a few rods as well so I don't have to use my good stuff. |

Location: Detroit River | A lot of guys on LSC use Ugly Stick Tiger rods. They go for around $60. The down side to them is the biggest you can get is 7'.

| berkley glowstik catfish rods...you can find them on the cabelas website...7' - $40.00 up to 10' - $50.00...i have two of the 8 footers and yes they do glow in the dark and yes they can handle pulling some pretty big baits...over 8' they get pretty heavy and awkward...mine have seen maybe 24 hours of use over the 7 years i have had them...why...I ABSOLUTELY HATE TROLLING BECAUSE IT'S NOT REAL FISHING...when my time comes that i can no longer chuck baits all day long i will take up bowling...  |

Location: colorado | I have a couple of ugly sticks. they are the dipsy diver modle. BWDD 1100 10'. medium heavy. Jef Hanson turned me on to them and i like them just fine. I can feel my baits running and know as soon as they pick up trash. |

Location: Palm Coast, FL | Migizi rods has a 7'6", 8' and a 9' e-glass composite with kevlar built into the blank. The rods will troll both small and the biggest bait you want troll. They will also the biggest fish you will catch. I am working on getting some video footage, of a beast of a fish, edited and will post as soon as it is done. |

| Shimano TDR's inexpensive and you can find them for $30-40 and they do the job. They aren't the greatest rod but they do the job if you only troll once in awhile. Can use the exta money you save for reels. |

Location: Muskegon Michigan | The best Trolling rod for the money(29.99 at bass pro shops) is the 7 foot Ugly stick Catfish rod. One piece Glass and they have the power where you need it in the lower 2/3 of the blank. I have 6 of them and have fished them hard through Hundreds of Muskies on St. Clair and all over other lakes. They are brutally tough and can take being tossed in a pile stuffed in rod lockers and abused beyond belief. They are White and have Fuji Reel seats and ceramic guides which last about two years with Mono lines. I had all mine retied with Cabelas Stainless steel Boat rod wide guides. Now they last forever.
