Entry fee is $50 again this year.

We now have a guaranteed grand prize payout of $1000.

More prizes are coming available so this should be a great event again this year!

I believe they are since they're a muskie. That said, I have yet to catch one on the river so good luck with that.

The river is starting to clean up after the heavy rains a few weeks ago and fish are starting to show themselves. Registration continues for this event. Less than a month to go

I do not believe that we are able to switch the date. right now we have 3 weeks for the river to shape up so we should be ok. This is a great opportunity for anyone who fishes the river to come out and show support for this area. Buisnesses are going to suffer here and I am sure the local MI chapter will be putting money towards the resource from this tournament.

All is not lost on the river and it will get through this. Will be months worth of clean up I am sure. I believe the river should crest in the next 24 hours if it hasnt already.

The flow is coming down nicely. I would suspect that there is some stuff floating out there. Will definatly be good to go for the tournament as planned. The news tends to blow things out or proportion sometimes as it is not the end of the world up here as some like to report.

I drove over it today and it didnt look to bad. Saw some new log jams and other interesting stuff from this flood. On a positive note this flood has created a lot of new structure/habitat out there. Should be fun finding and fishing all this stuff!

6 sub legal’s were caught

Largest Muskie 49” Keith Okeson

1st place Keith Okeson 49”

2nd place Richie Kroger 41.5”

High temps and flat calm made it a tough day out there but it was fun non the less. Congrats Keith, Richie and Jeff.
