| Was at my buddies place last night, and he shows me a e-mail picture that was sent to him by Jim Bunch of Muskies Inc.
It is a picture of an 11 year old boy holding a massive 58 1/4 incher! There was no other info. I'll see what I can find out.

| Saw the photo myself and its quite impressive. Wish I could put the photo up, but I dont have parental consent.[;)] |

| Let's see the photo!!!! |

|
| Where was this hawg caught....damn that's a big ol' fish. Looks like St. Claire. |
|
| |
|
| I did some snooping, and this is what I came up with.
Fish was caught on a chartreause crankbait in Ontario.
He caught it on August 13th. He also boated a 49" and a 34" on that same day! The day before that, he gets a 52"!
He goes out on August 16th, and nails a 48", and then the next day he sticks a 51"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He has 8 fish registered in the Muskies Inc. Lunge Log over 50"! AND HE'S ELEVEN YEARS OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I need to fish with this kid. Or at least shake his hand.
Congratulations Luke!
WOW! |

| Here is the pic that SLAMR sent me. |

|
| That fish is clearly spotted, the water is really blue, and one of the only places to catch that many fish of that size is St. Claire. I have a hard time believing it was caught in Canada. Big ol' fish from Ontario don't look like that. |
|
| |
|
| If there was a picture of him after he stood up to release it, I'm sure that his shorts were wet. Man, give the kid a break. |
|
| |
|
| If you think thats big,his dad Mark has 61" on vidio. And I seen the tape. Nicest guy around who catches HUGE fish. Hes under bigfishcarlson on musky hunter. |

| Man Luke must be one heck of a fisherman, and I'm betting he's dad is a great stick also. Usually an apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm guessing that we'll see more big fish from him in the near future. Keep sticking the pigs Luke!!!
Since Mr. Anonymous is trying to get our "goat' by making absurd remarks about the kid's not appearing to be wet. Maybe he should look at the kids shirt and right arm. It sure appears wet to me, but than again I must be wrong since I'm not Anonymous.
How far of a level can we stoop now????? Pretty soon we'll be making pot-shots at grannies walking across an intersection.
catch ya later,
Krappie
P.S. Hey Big Fish Carlson you guys truly live up to your name. Keep catching those beauties. I'm happy for ya. |

|
| Looks like a St-Larry fish from here. [:p]
Do they get that big in St-Clair? I don't think so. |
|
| |
|
| I would have to agree , it does look like a larry fish. And one h@LL OF A fish at that.
good hunting dudes and dudets

|
| I'd bet the farm it didnt come from St-Clair. 55" are just another fish in the boat for these guys. If I knew half of what Luke forgot about fishing I would be happy. I get excited when I get a little 36"er. Im sure Luke and his brother shake off 45"s along side the boat. |

|
| It's a Georgian bay fish. From the area(s) that are off the 'beaten' track.A huge body of water like that is not limited to one standard pattern of fish.Spotted, barred, clear and any combo there of,they are all there. My thoughts anyway. |

Luke congatulations!! That's an awesome fish and a catch that most muskie fisherman can only dream about. It sounds like you've got a passion for catching big muskies. I hope you can beat this fish. No matter what anyone says, you have joined the ranks of a select list of great muskie fisherman. By that I mean you are consistantly catching big fish and are definitely on top of the game. Good luck, I hope you break the world record. It sounds like your dad is putting you in the right spot's and times to do it. [:p] [] [:sun:]

| Luke,
Congrats on this huge fish. You and your old man sure know what in the heck you're doing. You two have some monsters under your belts already. |
|

|
| Behind every great fishermen that pops up there is usually a great guide. This kids dad learned from one of the best. The man put years of time in with one of the best guides around and he learned well. Great fish luke, hope your water stays uncrowded and many more monster to come. This fish and his dad are for real, he spent lots of time and money to learn the system. I hope he knows how to respect the water and those who helped him learn it. [;)] |
