Posts: 203 Location: Minnesota | Overall... Paul Hartmann did a great job with the Expo, keeping the tradition alive... Although, It wasnt the same without few vendors such as H2O Tackle (missing for 2nd year in a row, and I was hoping to get few Hardheads this year), Suick (I'm wondering why???), Lee Tauchen, Steve Jonesi (I know he retired but still, hes an Icon!!!), Terry Soberg, and few more I cant remember... I also was pleased to see more Tackle Industries products at the Expo... I noticed plenty of people giving them a look or second... James definitely has a great customer base and maybe its time he should have a booth at the Expo himself!!! I was there for only 2 hours, and still came home with plenty of goodies... Today's basically my Christmas Day!!! Many thanks to Rubberhairy Tackle!!! I am extremely pleased with their new Mag Tullibees!!! Cant wait to be casting them this year!!! Excellent colors too!!! I'm impressed with Eric... He remembered me asking for bigger size Tullibees last year and was nice enough to let me get two!!! Many thanks!!! Ty Sennett outdid himself this year with a custom Spider paintjob on his Pacemaker!!! Its definitely a work of art and Im very afraid to use this one myself!!! Too beautiful!!! I also purchased two other Custom Pacemakers... I also cant wait to be using Double Dawgs too... as MI Booth was the first stop... and I purchased two Custom show Double Dawgs... hour later, both colors were sold out!!! I also purchased two Shadillacs... Will try to use them more this year than last year... Turns out Hulbert now has two version of Shadillac... Regular and Floater... He added few more colors but most were the same from last year... Shack Attack moved to a smaller booth... but still had a great selection... I purchased a custom Curly Sue from him, the one I was hoping he'd make... Will be going back tomorrow with friends... and hope to get a guided trip... preferably with Mike Hulbert... Also surprised at the new 10' Phantom... Todd really kept this project under wraps very tight!!! They sure look sweet but due to my budget, I didnt get any... Same goes for Twisted Suckers... I would have loved it if I could purchase few Twisted Suckers, but maybe next year... Was disappointed that Chaos Tackle and Bitten Tackle didnt have a booth there as I was hoping to see Custom Medussas and Warlocks...

Posts: 1290 Location: WI | Good expo. I also bought one of the spider Pacemakers, it was too cool to pass up. Scooped up a couple baits at the Big Game booth, and 3 Dadson bucktails.

Posts: 55 Location: Coon Rapids, MN | Checked out the show yesterday and as alway had a good time. I was able to get out of there without spending too much money. There is a good chance I'll be heading back down there this afternoon with the better half so it might end up being expensive. She loves throwing topwater so there might be a pacemaker or two that finds it's way home ![]()

Big thanks to the guys at the Abu Garcia booth. My Big Game 7000HSN is like brand new. Having my reel cleaned and put back together correctly was worth the price of addmission alone. Also got a Custom ProDawg Pounder that is friggin sweet.

Posts: 3488 Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Show was great!! Went to Bob Turgeon's seminar which was very informative (and might I say needed since I am not getting up north anywhere near as much). The people were great, and special thanks to the guys working the Musky Mayhem booth...custom double 10 from them today. But....of all things that I would come home with... a prop!! Imagine that... ![]()

Posts: 216 Location: Elk River, MN | Great pics Steve. I was up at Lake of the Woods walleye fishing so couldn't make it but your pictures gave me an idea what it was like. I will be doing my spending in one week at the Thorne Bros sale (get some custom cowgirls and other items then).
