I'm on the road this weekend, at the FLW Walleye Tour Championship in North Dakota until Saturday, then home late Sunday night, so no fishing for me until Monday evening....but I'll get out then!

Where are you headed this weekend to chase Muskies about?

Was hoping to get out this weekend somewhere down here in Lake Country, but Saturday is our annual opening day southern Wisconsin duck opener. Beer brats on the grill for breakfast, and venison tenderloins from last weeks doe for lunch during the mid-day lull. . . Grill smoke rising from the cattails, that's our signiture in the marsh - we're safe. Monday nights Packer game opens up Sunday to a day on the water with a rod in hand, I'll try to make it out.

Actually going for some smaller ski, I would say big, but i dont want to upset myself knowing the body of water were fishing. Taking my old man out with me, he has been fighting cancer for awhile now and is doing pretty well. So just us two, havent done that since I was a boy so fish or no fish I cant beat the results of that day, it will always remain priceless!

Gonna try to put a fish or 7 in the boat for my match on Saturday. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. It snowed yesterday...

I actually have a break on Sunday (I guess that's what it's called), and am taking the wife out for some 'ski fish'n. Thankfully it is looking to be partly cloudy or I think she'd back out and I'd have to find someone else to fish with. Hopefully we can get her hooked up with a fish or two. We'll see what the fuuuuuullll moon has in store.
