| In watching the fishing shows this winter I've noticed when the host sets the hook they each do a distinctive dance step(s). Some do a two step, some a shuffel, others do the twist.
What dance step do you do when you set the hook on your toothy critter?
Does your dance vary with the lure your using? ie, the Bucktail Boogie, or the Topwater Tap, The Slider Shuffel?

| I do a combination twist with a two step shuffle. Sometimes I can incorporate a jump in with the twist and then two step. Those sharing the front deck need to be alive up there, sometimes it gets crazy. |

Location: Washington, PA | Being that I fish from a canoe quite a bit. When I have someone with me, sometimes it get's a little shaky. That being said, after the hookset, countless times I fall down, and have been lucky enough to have battles on my knees with fish. I should tape it, it would probably be pretty funny. |

I did see a buddy of mine two step all the way around my Ranger last summer as he battled a super fathead out on Lake Tomahawk. When he stopped dancin that bulldawg came flyin right out of her mouth I hope this year we can do that same dance out there if she's willing!! |

Actually, I just yell to my dad to get the net immediately. By the time he gets around to it, the fish has been to the boat at least once or twice and I am yelling at him to hurry his arse up. |

Location: Home of the 2016 World Series Champion Cubs | Seeing a friend of mine after several years of trying to boat his first muskie do his version of an end zone celebration was sight that will be forever etched into my mind. Mid October on Lac Courte Orielles after a 40"er rached the net via the end of his line resulted in a celebratory dance which kinda went like this "MUSKIE!!!" hop, "MUSKIE!!!!!!!" hop, "MUSKIE!!!!!!!!!!!"Hop, "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOA!!!!!!!!!!!!" SPLASH. The unintentional splash portion of the celebration into the 50+/- degree water of LCO is what we all still laugh at today. It was also a long ride from Wismo point to Barbertown Bay for a soaked "Spud" for him to get into some dry clothes. All in all, no harm to anyone and a memory for a lifetime. Thanks Spud.

Location: Holly, MI | Does this count as a casting deck in the off season? The pics are of my 7 yr old who is learning to use a bait-caster. I hope they come in the right order as played out. "The wind up" then "The pitch" finally "The catch" (he caught a tree in the yard)
It looks more like the Derrick Jeeter than the 2 step..

Location: Athens, Ohio | One of the best deck dances I've seen in a long time came from Gregg Thomas on the Badfish video when he and Laura were out on Mille Lacs. They got his fish in the net, and he starts whoopin about how it is the biggest fish he's ever caught (I bet he says that to all the girls!). Hard to tell if his next move is a hug or a grope, but that dance is definately a Morehead Jig. m |

| I don't dance, but I do set the hook with some "authority".
Ask Worrall, the boat moves when I set the hook. I've almost dumped more than one partner in the drink.
