Posts: 120 | My youngest nephew just graduated high school this spring... Im hoping to take him on a trip (looking to book two days of fishing) on St Clair as a graduation present, before he starts Lineman school early next year (Jan)... Hoping to do the trip late this summer or in fall. Wondered if anyone could recommend a guide who does mainly casting... and may have some availability. We'd be coming from PA. Thanks for any help!!

Posts: 716 | Mike Hulbert, Chris Button, Spencer Berman, Jason Quintano are all top shelf. Of course there are more guys that do a good job but these guys are going to be on them for sure (at least as "for sure" as you can be..it's still fishing)

I would certainly add Matt "Catfish" Firestein to that list: http://www.whopperstoppermuskycharters.com/

Posts: 2024 | Hulbert and Gregg T are booked. Chris Button and Jon Bondy have openings the last week of August. Talked to all last week when I was thinking of making a trip in late August.

Posts: 299 | I've known Rick a long time and I can assure you he's a great LSC guide and dialed in just like the rest of them. I've fished with him as friends several times and I can assure you if I was not from here and needed a guide I'd hire Rick in a second.

Posts: 719 | Rick is a good guy. He made this jigging video a few years back which will get your blood flowing. I believe he runs a Ranger now though. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=a9FduEPoXX4

Posts: 299 | I don't think I know Steve but Rick and I chat all the time. He actually helped me this week (I don't get out as much as I used to) and I had a stellar day with 7 fish landed including a 50", 49" and 47" along with low to mid 40" fish and I thank him for his help very much! He knew EXACTLY where fish were holding! LSC is a different breed of water and it can be challenging on so much surface area to fish to actually find pods of fish. He's got a great 619VS Ranger so your safe on big water and I can promise you he'll be on fish. He's always slammed anyways with clients so make sure to see if he might have any openings. The guy can guide and fish.
