I’ve been working on some new topwaters and felt obliged to try a lace pattern.  I think it looks cool, but I wonder if an average musky angler would go for an orange rose on the belly?  I don’t think the fish would mind at all

Lol “Fishnets” I love the double entendre of it.  I already had a tough enough time buying lace at the Hobby Lobby store.  If I’m going to get fishnets my lady is coming with me and they’re going to be used in other ways first.

Looks good to me! I like the base colors and the black lace brings it all together.

With that contrast and color scheme, I think most musky guys would get in touch with their feminine side and throw it. If it catches the fishes eye and puts em in the net, i'd put a bra and panties on a lure! Love the look of that lure, very unique which is great on todays pressured waters

Dude what are you doing getting lace at a Hobby store? Bring your little lady along with you for pete's sake!

Looks good, and not too feminine at all!

Ha ha thanks Travis, I’m secure enough in my masculinity to buy lace.  Although, I did feel relieved when I saw a piece in the scrap bin that I could quickly grab and walk away with.  I still had to face the cashier with lace, hackle feathers, and glitter in my hands though…   She looked at me like I was a teenager buying a box of magnum condoms – that wtf look

Not every one can pull off a "manly rose". But you did it with the clever use of the greens to give it the reptilian look it needs. Sweet work.

I heard that for a four fish day you'd wear them yourself!

Mike, There is nothing feminine about it . That beauty will catch some fish and that is all that counts. Great looking job Mike, I really like it.

Here are the prototypes put together.  All are functioning properly; some just need a little more fine tuning.  I have some other variations of the creeper I want to figure out as well.  A buddy is going to let me borrow his Go-Pro, so I hope to capture some video soon.
