Posts: 1916 Location: Greenfield, WI | We spent a great weekend with greater friends at DHB's place on Crescent Lake, near Rhinelander, WI. It was Chamber of Commerce weather suitable for their Calendars and brochures. My sun worshipping wife loved it, from a fishing or rather catching wise perspective it was not so good.... I boated a 40" after 10PM on Friday, and we saw 8 or 9 over the rest of the weekend. None of the follows were aggressive. It still was an awesome time! Saturday the neighbor took us out on Lake Michigan and the kids caught their first salmon. Salmon on the grill Saturday night-good stuff. Sunday morning-Silver Lake Kenosha County didn't see a muskie.

Posts: 1169 Location: New Hope MN | Didn't get to fish much... got in about 5 hrs and boated a 30-32". Moved 3 fish total, 1 on sand bar next to weeds and the other two came off of a weedy bar about 6'. Nothing to with any size.

Posts: 157 | Fished on Friday night, and Saturday. Missed 1 fish on Friday night at last light on a custom glide bait, Missed 2 on Saturday morning on a Chartruese DD and a Walleye Phantom. Missed a low 30's three times on Saturday evening along with a slob that I missed due to my inattentive actions on a Poe's Jackpot. Streak/Slump drags on.

Posts: 1148 | Went out Friday evening and the lake was stirred up from all the rain to the point it looked like chocolate milk. Didn't see anything and wasn't feeling it with the water conditions. Figured I would let things settle a bit and get back out Sunday. Sunday morning went out on Pelican, working the shallower bay areas for the most part in the morning and not so much as a sniff. After lunch, headed out to deeper water and hooked up with a fat 38" fish. All in all, great weather and weekend to be on the water. With the warm, steady temperatures this week hopefully it will turn some fish on. Attachments ---------------- ![]()

Posts: 43 | Got lucky enough to spend the weekend up on beautiful lake vermilion. It was a great weekend weather wise, we fished probably 20 hours over the weekend and didnt see a fish though. We fished shallow, deep, weeds, rocks, trolling, casting and didn even see one. It was my first time up there though so it was still really fun! Its a beautiful place

Posts: 313 Location: Bemidji, Lake Vermilion | One 44 for me, had a friend catch her first muskie with me and her husband, little guy at 33.5 but you've got to start somewhere. She lost another heartbreaker fish that would have ate her first one when her husband had trouble getting the board off. All trolling, again not a fish moved casting this weekend.

Posts: 463 Location: Sw Pennsylvania | 7 hrs of trolling and casting saturday resulted in a 37" landed and a mid 30s follow, burning cowgirls. 5 hrs sunday and lost a decent fish in the last hr of the day. Finally getting a little action casting.

Location: Lake Geneva, WI | Fished 8hrs Sat. in East metro. Saw three fish and lost one that tried eating at the boat. Everything I saw was in deeper water 15-22ft and on blades fished slowly.

Posts: 6 | Worked all weekend..had Monday off to fish. Im thinkin front coming in overcast, chop..this could be good. Arrive on a fav Vilas cnty lake at 7:45am SE wind..have done very well on this water before with this wind..here we go! 3 hours later have not seen a fish. Gotta be biting somewhere so we pull out and head for another fav lake... more of a weedy thing where the first lake was deep and rocky. South wind..perfect! Blowing into the best weedline on the lake. 3 hours later..one small northern was all we could muster. So we pull the boat and head for another popular Vilas lake..Kentuck if you want to know. Pull into the campground boatlanding and there is not one trailer in the parking lot. This seems like a bad sign but hey we got the lake all to ourselves. Algae bloom big time. Visibility was less than a foot in places. Weedgrowth was excellent with only some of the hay like grass that is such a pain to fish around. 4 hours. Nothing. So my wife and I struck out on three very good musky waters on a single day. Not a follow.
