Go over to the Gander Mountain ...I think you live in Madison? they have good stuff imo...I have 3 sets...a North Face set of gore tex that is very light, for summer, a bit heavier pair of Gander's Pro Guide series stuff non insulated and Cabelas Guidewear insulated...I've been very happy w all 3. The North Face stuff I got at REI in Madison.

Posts: 272 | I have Gander uninsulated H20 raingear, jacket and bibs. Jacket so far has been fine, I bought it more recently than the bibs. The bibs....not overly impressed on the construction. Outer material seems fine, the inner nylon material ripped out almost right away in several places in the legs and crotch. The frayed ends and loose threads make zipping the zipper difficult. I need to get them back in there to see what they can do, but I keep forgetting. The outer material seems to do the job mostly, although I have gotten wet somewhere around the neck/head/shoulder area in some of the monsoons we had earlier this summer. Short of an asphalt shingled roof, I'm not sure if anything would have kept you 100% dry in some of those douchings we were getting. The one design thing I find useful and annoying at the same time is all the velcro on the legs. Nice feature when the bibs are on, not so nice when unzipping. My fishing partner has a set of Arctic Armor raingear (which float) and I'm going to be taking a very serious look at them.
