Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Sue and I hit Moen for crappies tonight. The crappies cooperated, and so did the sunset.. Looking forward to the Muskie opener. Attachments ---------------- 101_0111 [640x480].JPG (47KB - 138 downloads)

Location: Northern Wisconsin | I hear ya Medford Fisher, I've been working on a paper all weekend and the worst part is my local river is in flood stage so I can't even go catch some smallies.

| Nice to see the lake so calm. We have a small cottage on the chain and had hoped to go to Moen on the opener but even at dusk there were white caps. There is something about sunset on a lake that is good for the soul. | |||

What would have weird is if you would have said you and Sue played golf. A guy on this golf forum I post on started a thread about catching a bunch crappies about ten minutes ago. Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Sled, not one bit. We hit George tonight, a walleye, smallmouth, and a muskie hit our 1/32 ounce jigs. The walleye fillets will grace a breakfast plate next to a couple over medium tomorrow morning. Posts: 2091 Location: Stevens Point, WI | A lot of these great sunsets are directly related to the Eyjafjallajökull Volcano in Iceland.
