Finally I dedicated some time to get the airbrush going.
I had a bait that I really liked so I decided to duplicate the color, it’s almost down to the T except for one of the blue bars that hangs a little to far down but I don’t think the muskies will care.

Know that I had some time well here it is.

Thanks
I have allot to learn still.
I have applied envirotex resin to it with silver poly flake.
It really added nice finish to it.

Looking forward to using it this year.

Nice work. You'll notice that all of your paint jobs will pop to life after the Envirotex hits them.
Have fun with your new addiction.

I got a chance to do some more airbrushing last night.

This is a 8" tuff shad Pearl white with a pearl silver gradient and a light gold gradient running in the middle. it's hard for the camera to pic up the gold but in person but it looks good. I kept this one simple

That bluegill pattern is a good one! Great job, and love the pearl with the slight gold in it. Simple, yet a good whitefish/cisco pattern.

I really like the pattern on the Hellhound! I might have to copy that.

This really helps with the cabin fever and not being able to get to fish.

Painted 3 more last night
Wood Chopper, Top Raider and a Baby DR, still learning.

I may try auto paints in the future starting to see some disadvantages in using createx paints but one thing is it washes off really easy. I have learned once you get a section the way you like it you may clear coat it, so the next layer could still be washed off.

Those three are interesting. Looks like a camo pattern.

Thanks

I ended up putting better eyes on the tuff shad and a thin coat of Envirotex on both of them.
