so ive wanted to ask this question for awhile now......

ive been around this forum for alittle while now, not really knowing too many folks just some familiar names, never met anyone personally.

As everyone tries to deal with (making it through) the winter time with dvds, muskie shows and the such i just have a quick question to make my winter time easier i guess. see one thing is that i have no means of getting on the water. i have no boat, no friends who target muskies or fish for that matter. my only chance to get on the water and target muskies is in July when i go to Canada with my Dad. so i was just wondering.........if there is anyone in the Minneapolis area that also doesnt have many fishing partners that would enjoy some company?

i love to fish and would just like the chance to get out, make some friends and basically just have fun. i know the open water is along ways away, but this would help me get through my winter alittle easier.....thanks yall

hey brian, i'd suggest joining your local muskies inc musky club...great way to meet guys that love to musky fish and most likely you'll meet more than a few who are looking for guys to fish with once in a while...don't sit on the sidelines and go join a club..i'm sure there are tons of musky nuts up there you can get to know...

Gimme a call or shoot me an e-mail. We'll get ya on the water this season. The only catch, is that when you get a "cruiser" (read:boat),you'll have to return the favor to a young person who was once in your position. Kind of a "Pay It Forward" deal. You'l become a NINJA with the Big Kahuna. LOL X 10,000!

You can hit me up as well. Same rules apply as Steve said- return the favor some day to someone in need.

You can contact me as well. I am finally getting a boat of my own this spring so I won't have to rely on friends to take me out. Shoot me a pm when the season starts and we will hit the water!!

It's pretty easy to find some fishing buddies here! Give me a shout in the spring.

Brain~

Here are the links to the couple of Muskies Inc chapters in the Twin Cities:

www.twincitiesmuskiesinc.org

www.northmetromuskies.com

Either one of these is great choices and the guys from the chapters frequent the boards.  Besides finding some fishing partners, the knowledge you will gain is priceless.

Hey Brian,

Feel free to come on over to one of our Twin Cities Muskies Inc meetings. There's a lot of people from all age and skill levels in our club, many of whom are always looking for a good net man. Check out our website and in our forums section we have a board for have a boat/need a boat. Come looking to find some new friends and that's just what you'll do.

Not gonna lie, I dig this community. One of the top musky guides in MN, if not the US offering space to a guy not fortunate enough to have a boat. Not to mention the rest offering up. That's class, gentlemen. That's class.

Brian

If you posted on the TC chapter board, come on down will get you setup, heck we even got a guy on Board that has no ride, we even take him out every now and then, right Blowfish. Come to the meeting and you will find plenty of people willing to get you on the water, we are alway looking for someone to jump in the boat, or get 3rd person on weekend trip to cover gas cost. If you decide to miss the Feb kids nite, then stop at our booth at the Blaine show, we get you involved and introduce you to our member.
