This fish was caught today around 7:30 p.m. on silver lake. Creamed a topwater like no other fish! she released just find! Finally a southeast wisconsin pig in the books! She was 46 inches but very fat and heavy. atleast 25 to 30 pounds!

Yah I was alone, but a guy fishing 100yds away or so heard the racket or bombs going off and motored over to help with the photos. It was my lucky day finally! By the way this isn't my first post I guess I'm fooling everyone with changing my format and password. This fish missed the topwater but I felt the hooks hit her usually a fish won't commit twice after feeling the hooks. she came back real quick the second time and hammered the bait. this fish was one hungry beast. You fish out of a tuffy clark a? All summer down here I've been getting 30-36" fish nice and all but throwing a fat 46" in, is heaven on earth, about time!!!

I just checked your photo album, and you have boated some nice fish! I've always wanted to have a a Tuffy, but I'm still fishing out of a 12 year old ugly blue Princecraft that has exceeded my expectations. I've been a Tuffy fan since the late 70's, and actually interviewed with them in about 1985 for a sales rep. position. I wasn't actually turned down, but I didn't have the $ to get a tow vehicle at the time. What was I thinking??? If I sold my 26' 1959 Chris Craft, I would be replacing the Princecraft with a bigger Tuffy tiller.

Yah tuffy's are great musky boats! Hard to find a good musky boat these days. I think tuffy is on the right path comparing other manufacturers. In today's world there are now people who just flat out fish for muskies. I don't have kids yet but they will be casting a top raider with a 5600 abu 80 lb test flouro leader and fig rig rod for sure. No snoopy rod bluegill fishing for them. I do fish for bass only when the wrist and back get sore. never was a big walleye guy but they eat well!
Clark a what is your lake or lakes, your tuffy size depends on it. I run a 160 tuffy rampage and it's a clean 1991 with a 50 hp mariner 16' 10". everything I could ever want but I would think twice going on mille lacs or any big open water. Ran 18' lunds in canada off resort with 90 plus beam and they felt small in 4 footers. The 1990 or 1890 tuffy tillers are great looking boats, but my next tuffy will be the 1700 or 1760 gc model tiller for sure. My boat right now is not telling me to look for a new one yet though. That is how good these boats are built! It would be hard pressed to find a 91 anything out there that looks as good as my boat.

I really like those chris craft wood boats, never seen a 26 footer, not even on lake geneva down here! That must be a sweet boat clark a. to bad you would have to sell it! tuffy boats don't compare with a good chris craft woody!

Great fish! I've seen you out there quite a few times, well deserved fish!
I have gotten several low-mid 30s and a nice thick 43" the last few months but still waiting for those pigs to commit.
Hopefully soon, it will just turn to chaos.

Nice fish and Congrats!
Dale J.

Nice fish man. There are some good ones in there for sure.

Were you out last night? I saw a Tuffy similar to yours. I was in a Crestliner. Managed a just over 40"er on a weagle and that was the ONLY fish I saw. DOH.

Lance, that was me. I'll be out there more as the fall wears on. I usually split time with clients between Silver and Okauchee in the fall.

70#er, Gotta check the woods out once in a while. lol I was throwing a XX for quite a while, with nothing going on it on Sunday. I was actually on my way to work where you were fishing until I saw you there, and another guy I know that worked it just before you (in the Ranger). Keep plug'n away, there's some good fish in there. The best is yet to come.

The XX moved a couple for us on Saturday on Okauchee even with that brutal cold front. This week should help a TON to get these girls eating.

When I was coming out of dock I honestly was going to go over to you to see if you were ok, since your motor was up and you were almost on the shore. lol Are you seeing fish in that skinny water?

I saw you guys out there that night too. I was in the Fisher F-18 bass boat with a another guy in the back of the boat. We didn't see a thing all night, but I caught a 35" on the chain last night and had two more hits after dark.

Small world Wanderer. It was like a mini MuskieFirst outing. LOL

70#er, there are noooo fish in that skinny water.
It gets kinda shallow in there, so it's tough to keep the motor trimmed all the way down.
