I just wanted to make a quick announcement to the masses about the addition of our newest MuskieFIRST Pro-Staffer, Steve Jonesi. Steve comes from a muskie fishing family and grew up chasing the elusive Esox from an early age. Living in Iowa now, he fishes the small and large waters throughout the state, and travels to various locations nationwide throughout the year to fish 'skies.
Steve will be lending a helping hand to MuskieFIRST in a number of promotional areas (that is where the PRO in his his Pro-Staffer title comes from) such as tournament coverage, new membership efforts, MatchFISHING, and the such. Welcome aboard Steve, now you can put MuskieFIRST Pro-Staff on your signature on site.

*ALSO, Steve will now be taking ALL complaints about ANYTHING that MuskieFIRST, Steve Worrall, Andrew Golden, Mark Hintz or anything that ANY muskie fisherman throughout the world does wrong that you want to complain about....his email address is.....

hmmmmmm.....

Have a comment or two on this after much thought...

Congrats to MuskieFIRST on getting SJ aboard. I think you have brought someone who will go OVERBOARD to ensure sucess!

In fact I know he was doing some research that he will soon bring to MuskieFIRST very soon concerning structure and how it relates to water temps and the reaction of Muskies to BIG white objects.

It's kind of a secret project but here is a shot of Steve working on this M1st. special report.

That kind of dedication to getting the best muskie information to all MuskieFIRST members is what earned Steve his place on staff, keep up the good work Mr. Jonesi.

Obviously you guys don't monitor the website: OlympicDivingFirst.com.
If you did you would be able to see that Steve is jumping back into the boat!!

Hey if I was a musky and he jumped in the lake, I would eat the first lure that came by me too! The secret to the weagulls success.

Congrats Steve!

Thanks Steve.YOU know the real story why a semi-sane(I fish muskies so I must not be all there) man would dive into 50 degree water.I'll do anything for my friends!Hope to see you up North in a few weeks.Hey , I've lost about 25lbs so I can work on my form.Howie, yes, that was the Triple Lindy, you guys just didn't see the flips off the springs(Diamondbacks) or the Weagle in my mouth when I hit the water!Todd, come on man, you would have done it too.I ain't skeeered!Shady has the entire episode on video and maybe, just maybe, we could show it at one of our M1st gatherings. The next morning , I even horked the tape fron the camera w/o Shady knowing , but started feeling guilty and gave it back to him.I'm stealthy that way.Always thinkin'.I'm actually working , but have a date with a fat 48" later this afternoon.Take care all. Steve

Looks like a Lure retrival method, at the price of some baits who can blame him

Little?Apparently I got the vision in the family. There is nothing little in that picture , but you should've seen me trying to climb in the boat!LMAO.I appreciate the the comments.I hope I can help Steve and AJ with as much as possible. I think we've got the premier site on the web, and there's 2 reasons.1st, those guys put in a ton of time and effort to make it go.There's a lot of work involved to do it right, and these guys are committed to doing just that.2nd, the people. In the last year, at shows, tourney's and out on the lake, I've met a bunch of the regulars and you guys/gals are the best. Fishing aside, some of the nicest most genuine people I've ever met.Good to be around people like that .They make ME better, on the water and Life.I learn SOMETHING every day. Can't wait til the Goon! The Cave in March was my 1st "outing" and was an absolute blast. If you have the time etc. check 'em out .Have a great season all and be safe! Steve
