Posts: 392 Location: KY | I fished Green River Lake, KY Saturday with RiverMusky. Only got one bite. Never saw a muskie. After looking at the pictures of Chris's fish I have decided that the bass have scared the mukie away. Posts: 392 Location: KY | We will never know the exact size or weight. We did not measure it or have a scale. I do have video though. We are guessing 8 pounds. It was a trophy by anyone’s standards. My hat is off to Chris for releasing it.

Posts: 143 Location: Kentucky | That's hilarious Bruce! Are you trying to give me a bad name as a Green Carp fisherman! LOL
No seriously, if she wasn't at least 8, I will eat your short's. This was a fat largemouth. I had the privledge of living in Naple's Florida for 4 year's and not bragging or nothing but I have caught my share of big largemouth and this one even got my blood pumping alittle. For Kentucky this was a big bass. I was just wanting to get her back in the water so fast that I completely forgot about a length and a girth on her. Most people I have showed the picture too, would guess her at around 8 or so. All I know is that it wasn't the 50-incher that I wanted Bruce or I to get ahold of though. She ate a 9 inch cisco bulldawg. She had a big appetite that's for sure. Thank's for some nice pic's Bruce, and taking me out. cpr Chris

Posts: 536 Location: Brainerd Area | You know its just like a musky fisherman. Releaseing a 8 lb bass without putting a tape on it, BUT if we were to catch a 25 inch musky you could bet your life we would put a tape on it. HE HE HE Happy Hunting Duck

I've caught hundereds of big bass and no way is that a six pounder. It looks to me to be about 24" long and pretty fat about a 20" girth or so. That come out to 9 pounds 6 oz. which I think is probably very close to it's real weight. My Bigest bass was a 8 1/2 pounder and this fish looks a little bigger. It is a darn nice fish.

Posts: 367 Location: Chicago | Eveyone has an opinion, and the fish was never measured, and is held awful far from the man holding the fish. Beautiful bass, no two ways about it, just a different opinion here. again, congrats a big fish.
