Anyone have one? Looking to get one after getting my phone soaked yesterday. I've been looking at the Sony 16 mp camera. I don't need it to go underwater, just want to be able to use it in the rain and not worry about getting my phone wet. Really looking for something that takes better pictures than my Samsung Galaxy S4, which isn't as easy as you would think.

I dont care for the quality of my Nokia and its rated as one of the best. A buddy of mine has a Panasonic waterproof pocket sized camera that takes decent pictures. Mine isn't waterproof but I have a canon 280sx and I love it.

Olympus tough cameras are hard to beat if you want waterproof point and shoot. The TG850 has a reversible screen that would be good for self portraits.

I just dropped my old Olympus in a river, and got a new Olympus. Its from the tough series. I got the TG 830, and I love it. It's like the TG 850, but without the reversible screen. It's the middle priced Olympus point and shoot. The only thing the reviewers didn't seem to like about it was it's ability to shoot in low light. The first time I used it, I took a low light shot of a fish that turned out great - much better than my old Olympus. I'm glad I didn't drop twice as much on the top of the line. I'm sure that's a great camera, but the 830 does all I need. I found it on Amazon for a good price with a case, spare battery, mini tripod and floating wrist strap included.

+1 on the Olympus Tough Series... I even had mine in salt water a couple weeks ago, and no issues

I have a Nikon Coolpix AW110 that has 16mp, waterproof, shockproof, GPS, and WiFi (to share photos with my camera or computer if I need to). It takes awesome pictures for a point and shoot and can be used in any situation.

I still use a dSLR as my main camera when the conditions allow. I only use the waterproof point and shoot camera when it is raining or when I didn't bring the big camera. I leave it in my tackle box and never worry about getting it wet.

I also run the Olympus(my third one), but am still with the older SW series(1030). I've been in the market for another/updated camera but I still cannot find one in the Tough series that is comparable in speed/quality to my old SW1030. I'm looking seriously at the Lumix Ts5 and wonder if anyone has run one.

+1 on the Nikon AW110. Mine's been in the ocean, pool, lake, rain, etc., and is still working just fine. Takes decent pics too.

I have had an Olympus waterproof point-n-shoot (Tough) for several years. It's taken a beating and keeps on ticking.

I have a 12 mega pixel Cannon Powershot D20 and absolutely love it! Got it at a great price since my old Cannon(not waterproof) went in the river. The self timer can be customized and have mine set up to shoot a burst of 3 images in case the fish moves or I blink! Got the float strap, as others stated, since the camera may be waterproof but will still sink! Shoots awesome pics and video underwater also!

I've had the Olympus waterproof for several years and it's fantastic. Underwater photo and video quality are both excellent.

This camera rocks. It takes phenomenal pics, HD video and is waterproof and freeze proof. I've taken video snorkeling in Aruba and bring it ice fishing. Talked one of my friends into buying it and he loves it too.

Due to the overwhelming support for the Olympus, I went ahead and got the Olympus TG-850. Have it charging right now for my trip on the water tonight. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks for all the input!
