Posts: 9 | Hi Everyone, I'm thinking about picking up a hardhead this year and was wondering what your favorite color combo(s) are? I can only get one this year and I will be mainly fishing a semi-clear lake as well as The Chip. Thanks! | ||

holofoil golden shiner black tail--sometime orange tail holofoil clown white tail--sometime chartreuse tail i also prefer the paddle tail over the grub most of the time.. | |||

Posts: 270 Location: brooklyn park mn | I caught 3 of 4 muskies that I caught on hardheads last year on golden shiner holoform with black tail. Other black wifh orange tail. Got some pretty cool custom colors from roger so can't wait to use them. | ||

Posts: 1906 Location: Oconto Falls, WI | I wish there was just one color, but it seems every year a different color pattern is King. Out of his stock colors, if I had to chose just one, would be all black. That is if I only had one color to choose from for all the lakes I fish. | ||

Posts: 512 Location: Appleton | I don't think you can go wrong with any of the colors. Joe perch is my favorite stock color. I rarely throw stock stuff from Roger, I prefer to stick to my approx. 75 custom colored hard heads I own | ||
