Posts: 103 | I would like to buy a reasonably priced pair for low light conditions. Anyone have any recommendations? To those of you that have tried them - do they make a difference? Thanks

Posts: 3479 Location: Elk River, Minnesota | I don't believe there is such a thing as a clear polarized lenses overall....there might be, though.. I purchased pair of yellow tinted polarized glasses from Ocean Waves... They are very very nice on those dark cloudy days and during darker conditions as well... Steve

I don't know if Oakleys will fit your definition of "reasonably priced", but they do have them.

Posts: 742 Location: Grand Rapids MN | H3O Lites comes with 3 lenses and one set is nearly clear and run about $55 for the set. I haven't used them yet but plan on it this summer.

Posts: 1184 Location: Iowa Great Lakes | I run the Tsunamis from H30 and got the clear lenses after seeing the difference on Vermilion last fall. Steve was nice enough to loan his to my partner for the evening...Been wearing H30's for several years and not 1 bad thing to say about them, fairly cheap and lifetime warrenty and hold up great to abuse....

Targa01 - 1/20/2012 3:47 PM The "regular" set is $99 the Lites are $55. What's the difference between the regular and the lite versions? From what I've seen the regular ones come with grey, amber, and yellow lenses, while the Lite version comes with the grey, amber, and polar clear lenses. Is that the only difference?

Posts: 742 Location: Grand Rapids MN | I've wondered the same thing. Frames appear to be the same as well as the lenses other than the colors. I guess I could contact them to find out since I've been wondering myself.

Posts: 2 | I've been looking at buying the H3O's for over a year now but if you go too the lense colours on their website it says the yellow lens and clear are non-polarized, so even more confused now lol

Posts: 164 | The lite series uses a thinner cheaper lense material. That is the only difference. The frames are exactly the same and both lines of lenses work in the frames. I had a pair of the angler series for years and really liked them, but this summer I set them on the seat next to me and the next thing I knew they flew out the boat and were lost. So, I replaced them with the lite series, I still had some of my original lenses. I really like the polar clear lens.

Posts: 164 | Also, they have excellent customer service. I recently sent my frames in because on one side the lens was loose in them and I was afraid it would fall out. I received a new frame in a week.
