Welcome to the BIG SHOW!!!!!

MF toughest anglers went head to head and out of 32 teams we are down to four.

*********************

Upper Bracket

Mike Koepp and Mark Sankey (Team Bite Me)#14 (48)points
These guys have boated a fish or multiples of in all of the rounds....including a 48.5". They are diehards, fishing the every round sun up to sunset.

VS.

Trophymuskie and MuskyJ (Ottawa Rivermen)#5 (45) points
One very tough guy, who got a 50" in the first round and every round after that. He did however just barely bet me and Cpainter with a 31". So that goes to show you the big guy might be able to fall.[:p] []

*****************************************************

Lower Bracket

Matt Maher and Judy Bowen (THE CC RIDERS)#7 (43 points)
REMATCH!!!! Worrall and BEAV, being good sports, decided to not continue to the final four winning all the rounds by default. They wanted the highest point winner left after the last round. So MNEsox and the CC riders go head to head again, but in the Semi finals thanks to the good sportmenship of Worrall and BEAV. The CC Riders got a 48" and a 44" in the first round.....they are a team that can explode with good fish.

VS.

MnEsox and Don Schrom(Big Dawg's)#2 (54 points)
They are the sleeping giants who have come on strong as of late with multiple fish days in the last rounds. MnEsox is back from Canada after catching some large ski's and is on fire.

********************************************

There are four other teams that can fish the consolation bracket.. if these teams are interested let me know and we will set up the bracket.

Boro and Slamr (Team Muskie for Lunch)#16 (12 points)
Jason Smith and Cory Painter (Hawg Handlers)#4 (9 points) (default second round)(BLANKED THIRD ROUND)
Eric and Bob Larsen Team (Musk-E-Tails)#22 (19) points
Worrall and Beav #4 (the raging bulls) Default

These teams can go for 5th thru 8th if they wish! [;)]

I know how schedules are this fall for all of you. If you want to pick two different days between your match, that is fine. You just have to give me two days notice, provide good pics, and dont whine at me when I dont catch your thread asking for your item the night before..hahahaha[]

Mike, the 14th and 15th I won't even be fishing on my home waters but it's the only time off I can fish this MFWW fishing match thing. This trip has been booked many months ago. I have a full guiding schedual the rest of the month, I may be able to squeeze in a half day or so on the 8th but that would be stretching it.

Maybe Mr. Smith might let us fish on a different day but I would much rather it be done the same day thats for sure. And it would have to be done before the 15th for both of us, that way I can have a bit more time to schedual my finals match with whomever. [:praise:]

Mike I have decided and told Mr. smith that I will be doing my part of the MFWW fishing match on the 14th. Now I would like to know when you will be fishing your side of things and hopefully within a week's time of my date. I would also like that Mr. Smith withhold the number of fish caught by the first team to fish untill the second is done and has reported.

Good luck for your day, lord knows you will need it. [;)]

Trophymuskie I agree with jason holding your numbers. I do think that you should register your catch with him and only he should know your catch. I will be fishing Cass Lake on the 28th for my match fishing day. I don't think that I can catch any the 14th from my tree(bow hunting). Good luck to you on the 14th. Mike

Mike,

Be careful out there. And don't catch CWD! Stick a monarch!

Tight lines, and true flights,

TM and Extreme...

I have done that with MNesox and will continue to do so. If one team fishes before the other...one should not say anything, unless the team blanked. Which was me and Painters case..hahaha

Man you are going to make me wait to month's end. :-( man I just booked 8 more days in October in the last 24 hours.

I would like the final to be live. I think I have 1 weekend day left open in October. Oh well I first have to go and catch us 5 fish or so on the 14th as Cass can put out a few fish and some big ones too.

Good luck on Cass, man how is Jason going to shut up for 2 weeks after he gets my e-mail anouncing the wild number of fish we caught. [:p]

I can't post my result from Saturday but I will let Mike and Mark know that we got 9 on Sunday that were 30,31.5,32,32,33,33.5,41,44,46 and that adds up to 90 points. My best day out there yet. And on Monday we placed 4th and 18th out of 237 anglers in a one day release tourney.

You guys make your own conclusions as to we ether sucked on Saturday or got close to the same results. [:p]

P.S. Marc ...... you can put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Ok we now know that the " big dawgs " walk into the finals. How did the " Team bite me " do on Saturday? I know they got a few fish during their stay on Cass and a pike on Sat but was there any muskies landed?

If not we need to set this finals right away as I want to make this a live thing and only have a few days left for it in October. Man beeing a fishing guide sucks having to fish all fall long with only a few days off. [;)]

TM.......

They burned there luck a bit too early....

They got the 29" and 33" on Saturday..

You WON![]

They fought hard and had a great time doing it, while moving some hogs that just would not pop.[:knockout:]

Good luck in the finals TM!!! I had enough points to take you out the first day on the water and the second day you would have went down also. But the day it counted I could only boat two and that was not enough. Best of luck to you. Remember on any given day anything can happen, thats fishing. I see you had some excessive numbers the day before and after. Best of luck to both of the finalists.[:(] [:((] [:blackeye:]
