I'll be posting some more 'serious' options in a bit for comments and critiques, but I figured I'd toss this one out first....

Construction: Western Red Cedar, with approximately 3/4 oz. lead, and two 4/0 hooks. Blaze Orange rattle can paint, with three coats of e-tex over the top. Hand-poured, custom-designed soft plastic tail.

Dimensions: 4 1/2" of wood (hehe, hehe) and about 5 1/2" of plastic.

Action: Unknown. At least, unsure. I don't have a convenient winter lure testing option, so I can't be sure it'll work... yet. I'm hoping for something similar to a Swim Whizz on the shallow eyelet. (If anyone in the Mpls/St.P area has access to a testing tank, I'd consider a trade for testing this and few other lures, though!) I've decided it has to actually work before I make more.

Eyes: Three.

Radioactive: Possibly. Probably.

Anyone know of a musky lake near a nuclear power plant? Maybe near Springfield?!

Very nice. I bet you had fun making it too.
You have to be careful to not come up from the basement laughing too many times or you'll find yourself in the middle of an investigation.

"Nucular...its pronounced nucular". That is great...if that one doesnt work as you want it to, I would be happy to take it off your hands as a great conversation piece.

Any chance you would make a few to sell? If so..... pm me with a price and we will go from there. I have seen them in bass size but never in musky size.

Take care,

Jacob
