Posts: 3518 Location: north central wisconsin | Additionally, wondering who won the boat/boats. I'll get the info posted locally as soon as gathered. Our club has topped ticket sales for past couple years, so lot's of locals happy when info is posted. Was on a fishing trip during the tourney this year, so didn't have access to first hand info. I'm sure fun was had by all at this great fundraiser, and hope whoever won the boat/s are able to get alot of use out of a nice multi use rig. Thanks to all who helped with this event! Posts: 941 Location: Freedom, WI | Matt won it again with 4 fish in the mid thirty's. I was on Big Sand most of the time and him and Pam worked there butt off for those fish. Second place was on lake family 7 with 3 fish all in the mid forty's I believe. The 3 biggest fish were a 49 from Kentuck on Sunday, 48 and a 47 out sugar camp chain on Friday I think. The boat was won by somebody from Crivitz.

Matt McCumber won the Alliant again with 38 , 38 37 and 36 1/2 (or close to that) on Big Sand. He beat out a guy with 3 fish in the 40's. Big fish for the tourney were a 49 on Kentuck, and 48 and 47 on Chain and Echo. Only 6 fish registered on Lake Family 6 and about 10 from 7. Lake families 1.3 and 5 were the hot lakes. 140+ muskies caught.

How about reading it again before opening your mouth... he caught 4 fish in the 30's. I know...it's called reading...but try it out.

Posts: 2515 Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | While I like this format and think the idea behind this tourny is decent, I think more people in it aren't necessarily a good thing. Palmer was included in this event and the boat landing was left in chaos. People camping in the landing lot, garbage tossed around, bottles left behind, the latrine was left a mess. I think organizers have to preach to these guys/gals that they must leave the landing and lakes in the same condition they find them.

Posts: 258 Location: Mayville, WI | How do you know it was from the guys in the tourney? They do preach good behavior at ethics and the meetings, though there are some people that won't listen anyways. Best year for me, got 7th and missed out on 6th by 0.5". I'm just going to have to try even harder next year to beat Mr. Rubber dubber (and I said that two years ago too!) sc Edited by scmuskies 8/25/2009 1:53 PM

Posts: 1455 Location: Kronenwetter, WI | One point of improvement I'd like to see is the organizers verifying that the landings are usable before adding a given lake to a family. Laura, and Big Musk were both unusable due to low water....it is just a 'for fun' tourney, I know, but wasted a few hours of fishing time by driving around to unusable landings. Hey scmuskies i was right behind you in 8th. By the way---If I recall correctly, you must've been the guy who gave the trophy up due to the miskeying in the computer?

Posts: 258 Location: Mayville, WI | At least I got to hold it, for a little bit. Just gonna have to try even harder next year. In a sport of inches I got beat out by a small margin, but still got beat. sc

Posts: 999 | I think they should make McCumber switch lake familys and see how well he does! Just for a mix up! Most likely he'll win again!
