Where is everyone headed this weekend in chase of muskies, or what pre-season activities do you have planned?

I'll be out on the BEAUTIFUL Fox Chain of Lakes this weekend....hoping to keep Dave Van Dorn's win streak alive in the FRV Tourney series! Grrrr, go us.

I will be at wingra watching fish and start scouting on where the weed growth is at so I can get some idea before Friday at midnight of where I will be fishing. I swear the last week before season opens is a longer wait then the 140+ days prior to the last week.

Pewaukee & Okauchee, but that's next weekend. I think our plan shifted from starting on Pewaukee to Okauchee and so on.

I'll be fishing the picturesque Fox Chain Of Lakes. Seventy boats pre-registered. Forecast is sunny with a touch of wind. I'll be wearing a Bob Marley shirt and fishing with Chad Asprooth in boat number 34. It'll be a zoo no doubt- the rabid panda should be in his element, and the thirsty turtle will have it's share of creatures too!

Funny... to strengthen Justin's theory, I'll be at Lake X in eastern Iowa as well.

Good luck on Fox Chain.

I hate the Fox Chain, which is why I've only fished it once. This Saturday should be fun on though.

Then Sunday I'm off to centrail Illinois. Sean (esox50) will join me on a hunt for BIG FISH!

Didn't put the cover on my boat this week so hopefully shes dry!

Headed up to the cabin to stain the dock and will put it in next trip up. Also will work on the outdoor hot tub--like a bonehead I left water in the pvc pipes and they froze....that should be fun....not really...guess i have to cut out the broken sections and replace them...this should be entertaining to anyone watching.
