This should be a good bait! Many guys were already making these and keeping them a secret

Posts: 1185 Location: Iowa | hmmm...seems like someone showed me how to do that a couple of years ago...I have been doing it with dawgs and magnum super d's ever since...seen it work on more that one occassion too...both follows from absolute tanks and fish caught of respectable size...interesting... This will be a big bait that boats some tankers in 09. Some of the top guides were using it already in 08 with good results. Jason Hammernick told me that he and several others caught some giants on these in 08 and had action on days when nothing else would work. Jay

Posts: 999 | Wow, what else will they come up with!! Is it the double tens or the amount of water this bait is pushing??? I will go for trhe amount of water the bait is pushing. Unreal, there is no end in sight. Sad thing is, is that anybody can make someting like this up, buy a 4 pack of double ten blades $3.00 a 12 inch section of .061 wire 50 cents, 2 clevis's 15 cents, a round needle nose pliers $14 bucks a pack of split rings $4 bucks. Make the blade part of it and attach it to ANY bulldawg or Big Joe or a Super D you might have and you can have the exact same thing. Mr Musky

To me it doesn't look like that would be the exact same thing. This appears to be an almost full cowgirl (skirt and hooks plus what you mentioned) with the large plastic behind it. It is that easy to make all the bucktails you want, but there are still a lot of them sold. People make products, people buy products.

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | $31 to $34 retail??? That seems real high. Is that true? I hate to take a "Guest" comment for fact. No offense Guest... Maybe a Doma-D should be on the way...

Posts: 36 Location: Mpls/St Paul Minnesota | They will be about the $31 to $34 range. It's true what "guest" said. The price may seem high, but it's not for what's there. The Medussa is $20 and a Cowgirl is $25, your missing a bit of the Cowgirl and we wanted to make sure it was priced ok. Not to mention both parts are made tough. The rubber on the Medussa is tougher than most swimbaits on the market and of course the Cowgirl is a nice durable lure, and both have 7/0 Mustad hooks. Jason

Posts: 36 Location: Mpls/St Paul Minnesota | From tip to tail it's 20 inches, but to bait standards it measures 14" I don't have a scale here that detailed, but it should be close to 10 ounces. Jason
