Posts: 1460 Location: Kronenwetter, WI | When using the Nail Knot as shown by Lee Tauschen in Lambeau's post above here is a life-altering tip. Place the piece of hardware (clip or swivel) in a vice when tying onto it. These knots are tricky, but this tip will make tying them far less frustrating and much easier on the thumbs as well.

Posts: 2361 | http://www.amb01.com/01trouble.html My first site I picked was a bad site, but this one is better. I challenge you guys to find a really good reel site, better than this one, and this one has a LOT of stuff, check the headings on the page and you can find a 6500 schematic broke down to every last part you can lose before you put it back together. handy tips like this abound, definitely written by a fisherman! "Not a major problem, but annoying. Power handles are particularly prone to squeaking when ageing. Lubricate the inside of the handle knob. I guess oil or grease is best, but saliva seems to do a good job when applied once or twice a day! " Edited by firstsixfeet 6/6/2009 8:31 PM

Posts: 156 | http://www.myoutdoortv.com/ This site was posted up by another member here on a post, but I can't remember who to give due credit. The site has full episodes of a number of musky related TV shows such as NextBite, Joe Bucher etc.
