I use the spray version of C.L.R. or even Lime Away works great....

Posts: 1316 Location: Lebanon,Mo | 10% vinegar 90% water mix in a sprayer. used it for years, works great. for tuffer spots on the motor,i wipe it down with wd-40 or eq. vinegar mix idea came from a boat company and is cheap.

Posts: 1769 Location: Algonquin, ILL | The Vinegar / Water Mix works, Just be sure you are not using Hard water as this will only make it worse by adding streaks

Posts: 2323 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Whatever you do, do not use wd-40 on paint! Worked in a body shop during my high school years, that is a bad idea! May work good but can eat paint and cause bad fish eyes in the paint just thought I would throw that out there. You want nothing to do with wd-40 around any kind of paint. I would second what Bn said, thats what I use! Edited by Merckid 1/10/2007 2:30 PM

Posts: 1086 | Maguire's has a hard water spot remover in their lineup of boat/car waxes and polishes, etc that works really well.

Posts: 1887 Location: syracuse indiana | a mr clean magic eraser. its a sponge you get it wet and wipe it off and buff it and it will shine.. believe me . better than toilet bowl cleaner that has a acid based cleaner i would not use that at all on any part of the boat.. and if you did u need to wax as soon as your finished or you will loose your clearcoat...bill

I don't think there is a clear coat on the motor cowling? that is why I don't worry about it when I use the CLR or Lime Away...I use other cleaners etc for the fiberglass....

Thanks Shep I see your post. Appreciate it. These products are made for boats and work. Wonderfoam will take off the water spots and Restore will help keep them from returning! If I can answer any questions call anytime or email. Skeeter

Posts: 176 Location: Tomahawk, WI | Skeeter, I just ordered mine from you (wonderfoam and restore), 3-4 wks delivery, come on man, i hope its alot quicker, like 3-4 days delivery. I'v read nothing but good reports from people on walleye central that use your product, cant wait to get rid of water spots for good on my outboard, plus keep my glass boat nice and clean and spot free.

Won't take that long for sure. lol You must have ordered off WC board. If I remember right thats what it says on there. Anyway, I promise if it takes that long something is wrong for sure. Skeeter www.larsensales.com
